“When you play in adverse conditions, we say, ‘Defense travels,’” said Ben Pfahl, the Medina High School girls’ rugby coach. “Even if we can’t do a lot of the things we were planning to do on offense, if you play solid defense, that works in the mud, that works in the rain, that works in the wind.”
