Miller Era Begins with Bowdoin’s 4th-Straight NIRA Title

Bowdoin rugbyl

Bowdoin College Women’s Rugby won its fourth-straight National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Division III title, defeating championship first-timer Adrian College 51-17 on Saturday in Cambridge, Mass. The NCAA varsity program’s legacy predates its first NIRA title in 2019, and that prominence is one reason why Laura Miller seized the opportunity to become the Polar Bears’ second head coach since 1994.
