San Diego Takes Hiatus From WPL, Creates Touring Side

The San Diego Surfers are in an adjustment phase with a goal of building a club that elevates Southern California rugby, and ideally beyond. What does that mean in the near term? San Diego has withdrawn from the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) season, which has also shifted, and a new touring side has been created in its stead. The Division I team is renewed in its goal of nationals, and the overall club is looking to re-engage in the pursuit of establishing sustainable club.
