Rugby NorCal was not immune to the disruption that was covid, and today, there are (at times) six girls’ high school teams able to play in the 15s competition. There is a solid 10s circuit and middle school 7s that occur alongside the spring 15s league, and it’s helped teams like the San Mateo Wolverines gain experience and confidence before graduating into the top competition.
