Cedar Falls won its first Iowa Youth Rugby Association (IAYRA) Girls’ High School 7s Championship, defeating a tough field in Southeast Polk last Sunday. The outing also marked Cedar Falls’ first-ever trip to a state final, and the squad celebrated the occasion with a 12-7 win against top-ranked Waverly Shell Rock.
