Perrysburg started the Rugby Ohio spring 15s season with 17 players, and so head coach Marc Goddard wasn’t thinking about state titles so much as getting through the season with enough bodies. But injuries and attrition side-stepped the Yellow Jackets, allowing a solid group of players to make incremental gains each week and then achieve the unexpected: a repeat state championship.
