The National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) has released playoff information for its women’s 15s competition, including Round of 16 match-ups and sites, and details for the final four on Dec. 3-4 at Life University in Marietta, Ga.

Wayne State College (Wayne, Neb.), Denison University (Granville, Ohio), Mount St. Mary’s (Emmitsburg, Md.) and Keene State College (Keene, N.H.) will host the Round of 16 and quarterfinal matches for the West, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, respectively. Those rounds occur Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 12-13. The regional champions then head to the Running Eagles’ home pitch the first weekend in December to contest its national championship.

NSCRO includes more than 100 teams and has seen some fluctuations this year. The Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC), for example, is now a DII/NSCRO hybrid competition, and sees La Salle, York College, Lock Haven, Millersville and Scranton all participating in NSCRO. All but La Salle compete in the Pennsylvania division, and York is currently leading the Tri-State field at 2-0. Read more about York’s 10-5 win over Shippensburg.

The league has added the Rocky Mountain Conference with Chadron State, Colorado College, Regis and Western State Colorado University. The Prairie State Conference is a new seven-team hybrid league (6 NSCRO, 1 DII team) pulling from South Dakota, western Minnesota, northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa.

The Excelsior Conference folded but its teams joined Upstate New York. The conference now fields three pools of play and has the most participants at 17. It’s is the only conference that receives a second seed in the Round of 16.
