Southern California is contesting its season-end 7s championship on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Shorecliffs Middle School in San Clemente, Calif. Six girls’ teams from the San Diego and Los Angeles divisions are in the running for the title.
San Diego and Los Angeles ran separate leagues, and 7s tournaments began before the New Year. Teams played between 5-7 tournaments across the season, and the San Diego division also fielded JV games. The final tournament features five teams from San Diego and one from Los Angeles:
Pool A: Fallbrook (SD), Mira Mesa (SD), Rancho Bernardo (SD)
Pool B: View Park (LA), Mission Vista (LA), Westview (SD)
