The Carolinas conference is hosting a final four, but there will be no championship match. Instead, four teams will contest two semifinals, and the victors will move onto the DII spring Round of 16. The University of South Carolina (6-0) will play UNC Wilmington (3-1) for the Carolinas #1 seed on Saturday. UNCW’s one loss this season came at hands of UNC Charlotte (a 53-43 decision). The victor will play Florida #1 in the Spring Round of 16.
UNCC (4-1) will face off against Coastal Carolina (4-1) in the other semifinal. That victor will take the Carolinas #2 seed to the Spring Round of 16 and face SIRC champion Kennesaw State. Both regional playoffs will occur in Spartanburg, S.C.

Mid-America also has a unique post-season set-up. Three teams will play round robin matches on Saturday in Topeka, Kansas, at McDonald Field. Standings points will be used to name the conference’s spring playoff rep, and in the event of a standings points tie, a champion will be named by fewest points conceded, then point differential, points scored, and finally a coin toss.
John Brown and Kansas State topped the West pool, while Missouri won the East. The round robin winner will advance to Spartanburg, S.C.
