This is the final edition of the DI College Fall Top 20 for 2016, and there is no reordering to the ranking that occurred two weeks ago. The only change is the addition of the DI fall championship result – Air Force 19-8 UConn – which reiterates the teams’ previous ranks.

As always, keep in mind that the DI rankings have their own set of complications. Whereas DI is more manageable than DII in terms of tracking the number of teams competing, it also merges three different competitions (NIRA, DI Elite, fall DI) into one list. The spring rankings will include DI Elite-designated teams in addition to DI colleges competing toward the spring DI championship. Remember: There is no DI national championship but there is a DI Elite national championship.
