Congratulations to Ashley Palmieri, who was voted Canterbury Player of November!

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy flyhalf became an important leader during the DII college fall playoffs in which the Bears defeated higher-ranked Bloomsburg University and St. Michael’s College during a double-header weekend. Those wins sealed the team’s place in the fall semifinals (which occurred Dec. 3-4), marking the farthest the Cadets had ever advanced into the post-season. The New London, Conn., team also forced a big adjustment in the rankings.

So marks the end of the first series of Canterbury-sponsored players of the week/month. The profiles will resume in January 2017. Stay tuned for fall 2016 awards!
