Texas A&M was previously ranked ahead of Wyoming, and then last weekend the Laramie squad traveled to College Station for a 57-point win. Considering the result, Texas, formerly ranked 15th, fell off the list.

Northern Iowa got the slight nod over the Aggies in the rankings, as 26 points scored against Davenport is an achievement. The Panthers were heavily favored in this contest and extended its winning streak to five games.

Navy retained its spot at No. 3 after a 46-0 win over visiting Northeastern. That saw the Maddogs drop a couple spots and below Pittsburgh, which put in a hefty second half against Michigan State for a 36-point win.

This weekend will host the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the USA Rugby DI Fall College Championship. The two 2-0 teams out of the weekend will advance to the final on Dec. 8 in Matthews, N.C. The competition’s DII counterpart will also be in the Charlotte area, but will contest its semifinals and final across that December weekend.
