The U.S. Armed Forces held its first-ever women’s championship last weekend in Wilmington, N.C., and all five military branches participated. In addition to naming a champion and integrating into the Elite division of Cape Fear, the Armed Forces Championship also named an all-tournament team.
Champion Army, which finished third at Cape Fear, took three of seven spots, and the other four branches accounted for one spot apiece.

Blythe is a Women’s Premier League veteran who helped San Diego to a 15s national championship and is core player of the Surfers 7s team … Drake is a U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduate and was a big influence in the Bears’ consecutive DII college final four appearances … Dyke is an events manager at USA Rugby and spent 2+ years as the national office’s training and education manager … Glover is also a WPL notable and was MVP of last year’s East vs. West All-Star Game … Herren is a crossover from soccer at the U.S. Naval Academy and landed a 2019 USA 7s residency … McCravey is also a crossover athlete from the U.S. Military Academy and now a capped USA 7s Eagle and resident … Williams is a core Army 7s veteran and injects true power and aggression onto the pitch.
