It’s been a joy reviewing the highlights of the 2018-19 season thus far, and while the previous nine notables (see full list) haven’t been ranked, this 10th occurrence is my favorite. Watch as Alena Olsen, who earned her first USA 7s cap at the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series in Glendale, Colo., recaps the Eagles’ semifinal win over France. The debutant played a crucial role in the time-expiring win and recounts it in terms of the team. There’s a really beautiful moment when she searches for and finds the right word for the victory, and it reminds all rugby-philes while they love and play the game:
