THE FALL REVIEW marked the first edition of The Rugby Breakdown’s newsletter, a news digest that will circulate on a bi-monthly basis. The December 13 issue focused on the triumphs of the fall – from high school state trophies, to USA Rugby’s fall titleholders, to national champions in the WPL, NIRA and NSCRO.
To review all of the fall’s champions, then follow the “Fall 2017 Champion” tag to read The Rugby Breakdown’s coverage.
Additionally, certain leagues and regions used the fall to determine their post-season representatives in the spring. We’ll see Capital champion George Washington and runner-up Catholic in the DII college spring championships; Midwest’s Detroit and Cincinnati in the DI and DII national quarterfinals, respectively; and Providence and Hartford, Monmouth and Village Lions in the Atlantic North semifinals.
Given the slow-down in rugby action, the next issue won’t hit until the New Year. If you’d like to join the mailing list, then subscribe from the website (sign-up block in header), via the Dec. 13 issue (bottom of page), or e-mail me.
