Rugby Arizona is well underway in its girls’ high school and U16 seasons, and spring 7s will culminate with a March 4 final tournament. The State Youth Rugby Organization is introducing 10s to the girls’ competition, and that transition occurs while the Arizona Bobcats, the state all-star program, ready for several fixtures at home and on the road.
The in-state competition activated in early February, and the Saturday tournaments bring Sahuarita High School, the Tucson Thunderbirds, Scottsdale and the motley Big Dawgs together for festival . . .
