Montana has garnered attention in the last couple of years, as the girls’ high school competition has grown from 7s to 15s, and its state all-star team most recently finished second at the Great Northwest Challenge. In spring 2025, two more U19 teams joined the girls’ league, and there’s hope for another two teams in the near future. For Flathead Valley, this season has also been one to remember, as it ended with the team’s first-ever state 15s championship.
