The Charlotte Cardinals won the North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU) Winter 15s Championship, defeating the one team that had beaten them earlier in the season: Wando Wahines from South Carolina. The final was redemptive, but carried many more implications for a new, young team that’s part of a new, young club.
