USA Rugby DI Elite has named 30 collegians to its 2020 All-American honorary teams. The competition, which is the highest level of play for non-NCAA varsity teams, was unable to contest its spring 2020 post-season due to Covid-19. However, the four member programs are very active in the run-up to playoffs, their players receive lots of field time and visibility, and they contest friendlies against each other in the fall and spring.
2019, and thus reigning, champion Lindenwood University led with 10 selections (seven First Team, three Second Team), while Life University followed with nine (five First Team, four Second Team). Central Washington University put three players on the First Team and four on the Second Team, while Penn State put all four selections on the Second Team.
