Grand Rapids was one of the first women’s teams to know that it was advancing to the USA Club Rugby Super Regional Championships (SRCs). The Growlers won the Midwest Division II trophy in November, securing a spot in the Northern SRC on May 3-4. It’s a tricky balance – peaking twice in one season – but the Michigan squad prevailed at SRCs and heads to its first national semifinal.
