Tiffany’s experience across all levels of the game has been defined by her passionate and strategic approach to all facets of rugby. Her leadership and expertise sparked immense growth during her time with San Jose State Women’s Rugby, and her keen talent for management and event execution earned her the role of Operations & Logistics Lead for Rugby Sevens World Cup. Between years of managing USA National Teams at both the senior level and U23s across the globe and two Premier Rugby 7s squads, Lopez is no stranger to facilitating high performance environments and their operational logistics.
Her strong ties to the community game as Commissioner of the West Coast Women’s Rugby Conference are what inspired her to take on the Director of Women’s Rugby position within the College Rugby Association of America.
As Director, Lopez will be responsible for promoting and driving the growth and development of women’s rugby across all divisions. Tiff’s commitment to improve not only player, but coach and staff development as well, have already sparked positive change within CRAA. Her dedication to competitive championships and positive, quality experiences for all student-athletes strongly aligns with the mission and values of CRAA.
“This is an electric time for women’s rugby. With the first season of WER in the books and the Rugby World Cup right around the corner, we have a chance to really harness all this visibility to propel women’s rugby forward.” said Lopez. “I’m excited for the opportunities as CRAA’s Director of Women’s Rugby where I can build up both the community game and increase high-performance pathways for everyone involved in collegiate women’s rugby.”
