National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) teams have been releasing their 2023 schedules, and they speak to some changes for the impending fall. Division I draws attention, as it has grown to 11 members and will employ power rankings to sort the new groupings. Division II, Division III and the provisional competitions have also seen some tweaks. [There is a master schedule that will be available to the public shortly but is still undergoing some final edits.]
For 2023-24, there are 28 NCAA women’s rugby varsity programs that are also members . . .
