The Pleasanton Cavaliers hosted the Land Park Harlequins Saturday at Robertson Park in Livermore, pitting two of the top teams in Rugby NorCal’s high school division against each other. The entire region has been hungry for game time, as rain has closed grass pitches across the Bay Area. That bottled energy played out in a 28-24 decision to the Cavaliers, building even more anticipation for the season and playoffs.
