Since fall 2017, the state of Colorado has focused on 7s for its girls’ high school players. Rugby Colorado runs the club competition, the Colorado Interscholastic Rugby Association (CIRA) administers the single-school varsity season, and both function in the fall. But now Rugby Colorado is making a concerted effort to re-introduce 15s to girls’ high school players, and this spring’s round robin series is an important step in that goal.
