Texas Nuclear Thunder (TNT) is a product of the pandemic. The team took root in Montgomery and has sustained itself in a state that has seen a lot of flux in its girls’ high school competition. Earlier this month, TNT advanced to its second-straight Rugby Texas 7s championship and capped a 24-1 season with its first state title.
