The Cedar Falls girls' high school 7s team won its second-straight Iowa Youth Rugby Association (IAYRA) championship on Sunday, capping an undefeated fall season. The team leaned into its fast, evasive attack, and paired it with an aggressive defense that looked for the poach. An unselfish mindset wed it all together, as teammates rooted for and trusted each other, while the coaching staff kept the players focused on a process that would build toward season-end goals.
