The team will first travel to Canada for the Vancouver SVNS on March 7-8, and face host Canada, Fiji and Australia during pool play. Games occur at BC Place and will live stream on Paramount+.

“From the beginning, our plan was to build through the first six competitions so we could peak at the World Championships,” Bydwell said. “But being here in North America, after three 4th-place finishes, it’s time for us to shift gears. It’s about delivering complete performances — not just on day one, but expressing our intentions and philosophy on day two. We’re leaning into our core behaviors, into what we stand for as a group, and into our ability to find fifth gear in the moments that matter most.”

Knockouts begin at 12:36 p.m. PT on day two, and then the field will head eastward for the NYC SVNS the following weekend, March 14-15. Previously, the event had been held in San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and so the Harrison, N.J., site will allow East Coast fans the chance to watch their favorite 7s stars at the Sports Illustrated Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here.

“Playing in North America brings a different level of energy and responsibility,” Bydwell said. “In Vancouver, we open against a strong Canadian side who will draw real inspiration from their home crowd — so for us, finding fifth gear has to start in game one and build throughout the tournament. Then coming home to New York, it’s about carrying those lessons forward so we can deliver a podium performance that inspires through action and empowers our communities in front of a home crowd.”

Entering the fifth stop of the 2025-26 HSBC SVNS series, the USA Women’s Sevens Eagles currently sit 3rd overall in the standings after strong performances this season, opening in Dubai with a 5th place finish and finishing with close fourths in the subsequent three stops.

Led by captain Kristi Kirshe, the squad remains largely consistent, with a few faces returning from the opening leg. Bringing back pace and veteran leadership, playmaker Sarah Levy rejoins the squad, having recovered from an injury sustained in Cape Town. Hann Humphreys is in line to make their first appearance for the year, while Nalu Liufau is called back into the squad as a traveling reserve.

With both tour stops being close to home, the USA Eagles will be looking for extra energy from North American fans as they hunt a podium finish after knocking on the door in every city so far.

“With this being year two of the quad, we set out with the intention to build our frame,” Bydwell said. “Our goal this season has been to clearly define how this group of Highwomen will play, think and act — to cement our game model, establish our competitive advantage within it, strengthen our shared purpose and values, and embed antifragility into everything we do.”
