UT Vipers Celebrate 1st National Title

The Utah Vipers formed in 2014, and out of necessity. David Shelledy and Olive Ahotaeiloa had been coaching the U19 Lowland Lions, and for those graduates who remained in the South Jordan area, there were no senior clubs for which they could continue playing. So the coaching duo created a sister club in the Vipers, where Lions alumnae, returning collegians and rookies of all ages could continue their rugby careers – and then some. On May 17-18, the Vipers won their first-ever USA Club Rugby Women’s Division I 15s National . . .
