Weekend Championships: Where to Watch

There are several girls’ and women’s rugby championships occurring Friday-Sunday, and at least portions of those competitions will be viewable online. Read more for schedule, standings/brackets and live-streaming information.

 

 

HIGH SCHOOL NATIONALS

The Girls’ High School National Championships begin Friday, May 19 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, and the final kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21. Four divisions between the club and single-school competitions will name champions. Games on the Blue field will be live-streamed.

 

(PLEASE NOTE that there have been changes/additions to the field assignments, so that Day 1 DII Club games can be featured on the Blue field. We the updates have not been circulated.)

COLLEGE 7s NATIONALS

The USA Rugby College 7s Championships begin Friday, and the women’s open division will compete Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21.

CLUB NATIONALS

The Division I and Division II senior clubs will contest eastern and western regional championships (aka, national quarterfinals and semifinals) on Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21 at two locations: Tucson (western) and Pittsburgh (eastern).

• Live-stream: The Rugby Channel will not be streaming the eastern and western regional championships. The Pittsburgh Harlequins, host of the eastern site, will be live-streaming via the club Facebook page. We’re awaiting information for the western site.
