The New York Rugby Club is going to start the 2023 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season the way it ended the 2022 season: against the Colorado Gray Wolves. But obviously, the April 15 opener is not a pick-up-where-we-left-off situation. New York will head to Denver with a mix of new and returning personnel, a new head coach, but also three useful pre-season games – the most of any WPL squad.
