The Girls High School All-Americans (GHSAAs) are assembling for the first of two camps that will culminate in matches against Canadian opponents. The GHSAA East camp convenes Tuesday, July 26 at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Md., and a total of four matches will be contested on Friday, July 29 and Sunday, July 31.

The All-Americans will train, fuel, board together as a unit until game days, when for the first time in the program’s history, the group will subdivide into U16 and U18 teams. GHSAA head coach Farrah Douglas will be at the helm, while Kate Daley and Ricardo Ramirez serve as assistant coaches.

Friday’s games against Quebec occur at 3:15 p.m. EDT for the U16s and 5:00 p.m. for the U18s. The rematches occur Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the U16s and U18s, respectively.

The GHSAA West assembly will occur in early August, however, whether there will be a U16 component is unknown. Stay tuned for details and updates as they’re made available.
