Congratulations to the Canterbury Players of March: Land Park’s Lei Taukave-Langman and the University of Arizona’s Jessica Carpenter.

Every week during the month of March, high school and collegiate athletes were profiled as Players of the Week, and those honorees formed the pool for the Canterbury High School and College Players of March. Readers then voted during a five-day period for the Players of the Month.

Arizona flyhalf Carpenter received 34% of the vote, while Land Park power forward Taukave-Langman received 37% of the high school votes.

The process for April has already begun. Canterbury College Player of the Week Katelyn Faust helped Claremont Colleges to the first-ever NSCRO Pacific Coast Championship, and the high school profile will post shortly.

Thank you to our sponsor, Canterbury, for supporting women’s rugby!
