2016 national club champion Sacramento
The Girls’ High School National Championship has determined its DI club quarterfinal match-ups and DII club bracket. The club championships will occur Friday-Saturday, May 19-20 in Elkhart, Ind. The single-school national championship will occur Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21, also at the Moose Rugby Grounds.

Eight teams comprise the DI club bracket and pit the following against each other in the quarterfinal round:
• United vs. South Bay: United won two state championships last weekend: 60-5 over Kau Toa for the Cup, and 55-29 over Wasatch for the Trophy. South Bay finished second to Fallbrook in Saturday’s SoCal final, 41-0.
• Land Park vs. Pleasanton: Both hail from NorCal. During the league playoffs, the Cavaliers dropped a 34-29 semifinal to the Amazons, and the Harlequins fell 24-10 in the final.
• Fallbrook vs. Morris: The Warriors dropped an early-season friendly to United before shutting out South Bay in Saturday’s SoCal championship. Morris has relied on the tournament circuit to stay fresh and most recently went 3-0 at the Northeast Invitational.
• Amazons vs. Hopkins: The Sacramento Amazons, the reigning national champion, won the NorCal title with wins over Danville, Pleasanton and Land Park. Hopkins is currently undefeated in Minnesota and won the Midwest club championship in late April.

Division II is a four-team round robin, akin to its single-school counterpart. The Brookfield Bruisers (Wisc.), KC United (Mo.), North Bay (Md.) and West End (Va.) will play each other, and standings will determine the champion.
