Labor Day Weekend is a rugby weekend as well! Although most fall leagues haven’t commenced yet, the Women’s Premier League is well underway and one collegiate competition is kicking off this Saturday.

It’s week three of the WPL, and everyone but Beantown and San Diego are in motion this weekend. USA 15s head coach Rob Cain is in Portland, Ore., for the ORSU vs. Glendale match, and then will head east in continuation of his league-wide tour. Chicago North Shore plays its first home game against undefeated Berkeley. In the Red Conference, Twin Cities and Atlanta are playing for their first win of the season, while 1-0 D.C. Furies and New York due battle in the Big Apple.

Beantown (1-0-1) and San Diego (1-1) have bye weeks. Click here for leading point-scorers and standings.
