Week four of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has concluded and saw a shake-up in the standings, as well as new additions to the point-scorers list.
Beantown fullback Michelle Omondi led all point-scorers this weekend, scoring four tries against the D.C. Furies in the 52-3 victory. Also in the Red Conference, Twin Cities got its first win of the season, downing visiting New York 39-10. Glendale snapped Berkeley’s winning streak with a 46-21 win. The Merlins are now tied with San Diego on standings points but lead the Surfers on point differential. San Diego took the road win, 24-10, over Chicago North Shore as well. Standings details below.
