The NCAA National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) regular season might be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the field has settled into its rankings. Several adjustments have been made since the previous rankings, most notably in the top half of the list.

Harvard defeated Dartmouth 12-3 in the Ivy League Championship, serving the Big Green its first loss of the season and gaining the #1 ranking as reward. The swap pushed Army down one spot, which worked well with Notre Dame College’s advancement. The Falcons had lost 21-14 to the Black Knights and then followed with a 42-12 win over AIC for the upgrade. Additionally, Norwich and Brown moved closer together following the Cadets’ 29-24 win over the Bears.

There is still one more weekend of regular-season play, and then on Nov. 10, the higher seeds will host their respective Tier 1 quarterfinal. The Tier 2 championship will also occur Nov. 10 at a TBA location. The Tier 1 final four will occur Nov. 16 and 18 at Dartmouth.

* Remember: Records only reflect games against fellow NCAA teams. Teams like Army and Bowdoin have a healthy amount of non-league games on their respective schedules.
