LOUGHBOROUGH, ENG – The USA Women’s Under-20s will face Canada and England in the U20 Women’s Tri-Nations Cup hosted in Loughborough University from July 20-28. Canada hosted the tournament last year where England won the title and the Canadians were runners-up.

In this year’s Tri-Nations Cup, the United States will first face England on July 20, followed by Canada on July 24. A winner will be crowned following the final match on July 28 between England and Canada.

All three Tri-Nations Cup matches will take place at the home of Tyrrells Premier 15s side Loughborough Lightning with broadcast information to be updated at a later stage.

USA Women’s U20s Head Coach Ricardo Ramirez said: “The event is a valuable one that allows players to see where they stand individually on the international scene, but will also allow us to build on the team aspects of the sport for the pathway.”

“We are looking to allow players to take their individual traits and build toward the future to find their best version. It’s going to take veteran players finding their voices to lead and newcomers to adapt to the scene and find the cohesive team we are looking for during the event.”

The USA Under-20s will first assemble for a preparation and selection camp from June 2-6 hosted in partnership with the NSCRO Selects All-Star Squad. The NSCRO All-Stars and USA U20s will face each other in a final match at the conclusion of camp, after which final selections will be made for the Tri-Nations Cup.
