Midwest HS Thunderbirds Name Ireland Roster

The Midwest High School Thunderbirds is the best run regional all-star program for girls in the U.S., and the program is readying for an international tour to Ireland this August. The team has been selected, itinerary sorted with Irish Rugby Tours, and one last fundraising push will see the Baby Birds overseas. Head coach Garrett Fisher detailed the decision to travel overseas this summer and named a preliminary roster back in September 2018. Only two players from that original lineup ended up being unable to travel. The 2019 Florida Winter Tour (*) provided more insight into the Midwest talent and 15 players return from that trip, including Libby Moser, Delany Moyer and Angelina Pollice, who served as captains down south.

All told, the 23 players hail from 15 different teams across Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
