The Big 10 Women’s Rugby Conference has named its First and Second All-Conference teams following the conclusion of the 2022 15s season in early December. There are seven Division I teams in the National Collegiate Rugby competition, which is also home to the reigning DI 15s national champion, Univ. Michigan.
Each Big 10 team received two player spots for both of the all-conference teams, totaling 28 players. The Player of the Year does not count toward that total, and the 2022 award went to Michigan fullback Ember Larson, who was also named NCR DI National Championship MVP.
There is an equal number of forwards and backs named to the all-conference teams; however, there is a concentration of flankers and flyhalves at six selections apiece. All positions are represented save scrumhalf (!). Finally, those players who were named to the 2021 Big 10 First Team (*) and Honorable Mentions list (^) are also noted.
