The Berkeley All Blues won their third Women’s Premier League (WPL) National Championship, defeating Beantown 29-7 at the Chicago Blaze Rugby Complex in Lemont, Ill. The title was especially poignant given the season’s dedication to Kathy Flores, the former All Blues coach who passed away in fall 2021. (Another one of Flores’ legacy teams, Providence, won its first DII Club National Championship this year, too).
