SAN DIEGO, CA – With increasing global travel restrictions associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Women’s National Team XVs vs. Barbarians match on May 3 has been postponed.

The game was set to take place at Torero Stadium as a doubleheader with San Diego Legion versus Austin Gilgronis. As Major League Rugby announced a 30-day suspension of its regular season effective immediately, updates regarding the Legion-Gilgronis match will be communicated by the league and its teams in due course.

Information regarding a ticket exchange program will be announced by San Diego Legion at a later date.

USA Rugby and Barbarian F.C. will continue evaluating the climate around COVID-19 with the hope of rescheduling the match later this year. The health and safety of teams, spectators and event staff will remain a top priority.
