The NCAA varsity league – National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) – is two games away from deciding its post-season matchups.

In Tier 2, Mount St. Mary’s is the top-seeded team and will host #2 on Nov. 11 for the championship. That second team will be named after this weekend’s Colby-Sawyer vs. Bowdoin match.

According to NIRA commissioner Amy Rusert, the top-two seeds in Tier 1 have been determined but this weekend’s game between Notre Dame College and Norwich will affect seeds 3-8. The Tier 1 quarterfinals are held at the higher seed, and the Final Four will be held at Dartmouth Nov. 16-18.
