All members of the Pacific Four Series are in Canada, as Ottawa’s TD Place readies for the final two rounds of play. The USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will compete on July 8 and July 14, and the results will impact placement into the 2023 WXV competition.

This Saturday, the USA will face Australia, and FloRugby will live-stream the match at 4 p.m. ET. USA Rugby Women’s National Team (WNT) Head Coach Richard Ashfield has named the match-day 23, which features three uncapped players in Freda Tafuna (Lindenwood), Taina Tukuafu (Lindenwood) and Mona Tupou (EPA Razorbacks). Meanwhile, Kate Zackary will captain the squad and will earn a 30th cap at outside center, a shift from the loose forwards.

“The focus is really on us progressing from what we achieved in Spain,” Ashfield told eagles.rugby. “We brought in new caps and we want to move our game plan forward, try to play our game a little faster. The new debuts were all brought in for a reason. They are all exciting talents, and we want them to be able to express themselves and feel comfortable in this environment. Many of them have a long future ahead of them with the national teams.”

Following the USA vs. Australia match, host Canada and New Zealand will kick off at 7 p.m. ET.
