The HSBC SVNS has restructured for the 2026 season. There are six regular-season events (the “Series”) beginning with Dubai, and then heading to Cape Town (Dec. 6-7), Singapore (Jan. 31-Feb. 1), Australia (city TBA, Feb. 7-8), Vancouver, Canada (March 7-8), and ending in the USA (city TBA, March 14-15). The Series then flows into a three-stop HSBC SVNS World Championship circuit: Hong Kong (April 17-19); Valladolid, Spain (May 29-31); and Bordeaux, France (June 5-7).  The Championship will determine the lineup for the 2027 competition.

There are also second- and third-tier competitions occurring between January-March 2026, but precise dates and locations have not yet been released. These regional qualifiers will allow teams to be promoted and/or relegated between tiers.

There are just eight teams competing in the newly structured Series, which means three pool games on day one, and then two knockouts for everyone on day two. Those day-two semifinals will be crossover matches: the top-two teams in both pools will contest Cup semifinals, and the bottom-two teams will move into 5th place semis. The final round of games will place teams 1st-7th and seed the subsequent tournament.

The Eagles have had a nice run-up to the Series with an extended training camp in Australia that culminated with a tournament on the Global 7s Series. Read more. Expect a roster announcement in November.
