The Father Ryan High School girls' rugby team won its first Tennessee Rugby Association (TRA) 7s championship during its second year of existence. It’s been a quick rise for a team that started with four players in fall 2021 and now has longer-term goals of being a varsity sport at the Nashville institution. But for now, the team is enjoying its successes and readying for a new challenge that is spring 15s.
