PRESS RELEASE – Great Waters Women’s Rugby is proud to announce their NSCRO 7s Women’s All-Star team roster. The National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) has invited conferences to bring their best players to participate in an All-Star tournament in St. Petersburg, Fla., January 18-19, 2020. The tournament will feature teams from all over the United States, and NSCRO All-Star coaches will use the tournament to pick an NSCRO All- Star team, which will compete later this year.

Great Waters is a hybrid conference with six NSCRO teams competing alongside USA Rugby Division Two teams from Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois. All six teams are represented. The conference team is led by the same coaching staff as last year and includes two former Great Waters captains. Players were selected based off one selection camp, scouting 7s tournaments last spring, and scouting at Great Waters Championships this fall. This is an amazing opportunity for athletes to experience High Performance rugby, many of them for the first time.
