The Girls High School Club 15s National Tournament begins Friday, May 19 at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, N.C. The placing games and finals are Saturday, May 20, and will livestream on The Rugby Network.
The 12-team field is divided into four pools of three, and everyone will play two 40-minute games on Friday. Day 1 standings will inform the Day 2 rankings (1-12), and the pool winners will advance to the championship semifinals. The 3rd place game is at 1 p.m. on Saturday and championship at 2 p.m. Eastern.
The semifinalists are the only teams that will play four games on the weekend. The rest of the field, 5-12, will funnel directly into placing matches on Saturday. The 5th- and 6th-ranked teams will contest 5th place; the 7th- and 8th-ranked teams will contest 7th place, etc.
There are also three middle school teams playing a round robin, and the final will be at 12 p.m. on Field 1.
