Earlier this week, the Girls High School National Tournament (i.e., championship for single schools) announced the cancellation of the 2020 event, and now its high school club counterpart has followed suit.
The 2020 Girls High School Club National Invitational Tournament was scheduled for May 22-23, the week after the single-school event, in Salt Lake City. The Girls Club Championship Committee sent a brief e-mail to would-be attendees that COVID-19 compliance was the source of the cancellation and for teams to cancel hotel reservations.
