In keeping with the following member institutions and their respective conferences, NIRA DI regular and postseason competition will be suspended for the fall of 2020.
- Brown University – Ivy League
- Dartmouth College – Ivy League
- Harvard University – Ivy League
- Long Island University – Northeast Conference (NEC)
- Mount Saint Mary’s University – Northeast Conference (NEC)
- Quinnipiac University – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC)
- Sacred Heart University – Northeast Conference (NEC)
Army West Point will pursue outside fall competition opportunities per the Patriot League announcement stating that “the United States Military Academy and the United States Naval Academy are unique in their environments and their missions within higher education, the Council of Presidents agree that the academies may continue to engage in competitive opportunities as considered appropriate by their respective Superintendents.”
NIRA DI athletic directors will begin discussions on potential options for spring 2021.
