San Diego State Shocks With Claremont Win

The DII Pacific Desert Rugby Conference has an unexpected new leader. San Diego State University (SDSU), in its second-ever season, beat previously undefeated and longtime league champion Claremont Colleges 19-14 on Saturday. Consequently, the team’s confidence has buoyed, but so has its season outlook. Playoffs are now a real possibility for the Aztecs, and a win against CSU Long Beach this Saturday would seal the team's place in the post-season.
